U.S. Demands the Sale of TikTok over security concerns 🔑: The Biden administration is demanding that ByteDance, TikToks parent company, sell its stake in TikTok to avoid a ban in the U.S. Security experts and members of both political parties are concerned about ByteDance’s relationship with the Chinese government and the potential for the nation to gain personal information on U.S. citizens. TikTok says a forced sale will not alleviate the concerns that have been expressed.
